About Me.
Hello Again!
Thanks for making it this far! I’ve recently obtained my UX/UI Professional Design Certificate through Coursera's rigorous 6 month certification program. My goal in UX design is focused on creating a more connected, easier to use world. While being fascinated with all aspects of UX Design, I’d like to think I specialize in ideation, storytelling and interaction design. I love diving into the why and how people use things and furthering those experiences to make them not only easier but more memorable.

How I got into UX Design
I graduated from Minnesota State University, Mankato in December of 2019. I discovered my love for design through my 1st Design Internship. I was working with the director of Marketing on campus, creating advertisements for the Campus' new dining center. I spent most of my days on Canva and a little with Adobe Photoshop. The ads I created consisted of TV Display screens, foam-core poster boards, off-campus newsletters and napkin inserts. After graduation, and a few years of sales experience later, I was looking to get back into a design role. The psychology of why and how people get attracted to products has always intrigued me. I found UX to be a perfect fit for me. It allowed me to leverage my little bit of psych knowledge to have a positive influence on the user experience. I never would have thought a role would fit me this well.
